Grey Cottage is a sweet historic cottage located on the flat of downtown Saugatuck. Enjoy a meal at one of the fine or casual dining establishments, take in a show at the SCA, shop until you drop at one of the many boutiques, stroll along the boardwalk with an ice cream cone, or just relax and people-watch. There is always so much to do around downtown Saugatuck.
The front porch of Grey Cottage is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Relax on the swing and wave to those passing by. A spacious living room offers a flat-screen TV and new sofas for the 2020 season - including a new sofa sleeper for additional sleeping. A basic kitchen has everything you need to make simple meals at home. A formal dining room is a nice place to enjoy meals together or even play a game of cards. The bedroom features a queen bed.
Head out the back door to your private deck with outdoor furniture where you can sip your morning coffee or just enjoy some quiet time alone.

This is a budget-friendly historic cottage in downtown Saugatuck. Minimal updates have been made. Enjoy the original hardwood flooring, woodwork, and that great old cottage smell.
This property is built on a dirt crawl space. When it rains or is particularly humid, the property can smell musty and feel very humid.
Though the property is treated regularly by a professional pest company, it is common to see ants and spiders inside.
The backyard and BBQ grill are shared with the main house, Butler's Landing.
There is no laundry available at the property. There is a laundry mat in Douglas.
For larger groups, the main house, Butler's Landing, is also available.
By booking this property you agree you are renting it as is and there will be no rate adjustments or refunds.

The Grey Cottage is cute and perfectly located between the two main streets for Saugatuck shopping & dining. The stand alone unit is quiet and the courtyard welcoming.

Easy walk to everything in Saugatuck. It was a great cottage to either cook at home or take a nice leisurely walk into town. Lucys Little Kitchen is great! Saugatuck is such a great location - whether you just want to stay in town or take day trip to Grand Haven, South Haven, or Holland, great central location to come home to.

We loved the Grey Cottage, so quiet and close to everything. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner also and he was so sweet. We cant wait to stay here again. We have been to Saugatuck 4 times and each time we love it more, the food is wonderful, the pace is slow and easy and the shopping fantastic. Mill pond is great to deal with and have a wonderful selection of rentals. We also love how pet friendly the town is and how nice the shop owners are.
