Tucked away, just a short stroll from the heart of downtown Saugatuck, you will truly feel like you're on vacaiton while still being nearby to everything.
Beautifully landscaped and sprinkled with whimsical custom artwork, the fenced-in yard feels like a secret garden. From the entry gate with flowering vines to the fairy lights strung along the sides, this space is magic.
The separate 200-square-foot screened-in porch offers a second escape for relaxing the day away. This space features a large dining table with seating for everyone, relaxing lounge furniture, and a ceiling fan to keep you cool. What a great space to play cards, curl up with a good book, or just visit with your loved ones.
The spacious back patio is the perfect spot for your afternoon BBQ. Kick back in the Adirondack-style chairs and grill up an afternoon meal. There is also a dining table for 4 complete with an umbrella.
Around the other side of the home is where you'll find the hot tub deck. Ease your worries away, while relaxing in the hot tub after a day exploring the town. There is also a small yard and some seating on this deck.
Head inside Hidden Haven where you'll find a quality home with an open floor plan and many extras. The living room has comfortable leather couches, a flat-screen Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows, and sliders that lead to the patio. Open kitchen with breakfast bar seating for 3 boasts granite counters, custom tile backsplash, and everything you would need to whip up a meal at home.
Two queen bedrooms on the south end of the home provide a calm place to retreat at night. Each has a closet and luggage rack and one has a Roku TV. On the north end of the home is the third bedroom with a pyramid bed (full on bottom, twin on top). The third bedroom has an ensuite half bathroom and laundry. Also on the north side of the home is the full bathroom complete with a custom tile walk-in shower.
If you're looking for the excitement of town, it's only a half mile away. Take a stroll to The Southerner (about 2 blocks) for the best fried chicken and cocktails or keep heading into town for an assortment of fine and casual dining as well as ice cream shops. Town also has an array of art galleries, boutiques, coffee and juice shops, and clothing stores. You will not want to miss out on our local Saugatuck Center for the Arts where you will find frequently changing exhibits and Broadway-quality theater shows. There is something for everyone.
For a visit to Lake Michigan, our famous Oval Beach is less than 5 miles away. Here you can squish your toes in the sand, splash in the water, and spend endless days in the sunshine. Other area beaches include the Saugatuck Dunes State Park, Pier Cove Beach, and Westside County Park.
However you decide to spend your time in the beautiful Saugatuck Douglas area, you will love having Hidden Haven as your home base.

Hidden Haven was the most adorable rental! We absolutely loved the screened in room and we used the hot tub every night. Great location and we walked to town daily. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic and everything worked perfectly in the kitchen/laundry. The gardens were beautiful too. Really such a cute place.

We loved staying at this private little space in the lovely Saugatuck. The home had all the necessary amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. We loved the hot tub, as it was the first snow of the season. The location is perfect, and its extremely easy to get to downtown in a matter of minutes! We would definitely recommend and have already talked about coming back next year!

Enjoyed our stay at Saugatuck and Hidden Haven for a family get-together. The home is exquisitely decorated in a beautiful location, within walking distance of the cute downtown with restaurants, bars, shopping, and the river. Mills Pond was proactive in addressing any questions we had during our stay. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated all of the welcoming touches and support throughout our stay.

Where do I start.Darling house. So well done. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, hot tub was just what we needed after a long drive. The best part was the screened porch and grounds. Everywhere you looked there was something ornamental to see in the yard. I could have spent our entire stay on the screened porch. Plenty of comfortable furniture. And a large table for games or meals. Would love to come back and spend more time.

We love the attentive and helpful staff who always know the rental properties. Hidden Haven has a truly well stocked kitchen, perfect for someone who wants to cook on vacation. While not the largest property Mill Pond rents, it is so well appointed, you dont notice. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and restful. The insides are well laid out for a relaxing holiday.

Clean & cute hidden haven! Perfect private location close to downtown Saugatuck. Their property outside is perfect for summer but if you go off season, they have a hot tub too! I would definitely rent this house again!

A perfect property for a weekend away. A get together of 5 college friends - even with a rainy weekend we had a great time. The property was close enough to town to walk and we enjoyed the hot tub. Very clean and ready for guests.
