Back at Bootleggers, you'll find great outdoor space to enjoy your vacation. A yard to play, a fire pit for s'mores, and a deck with outdoor furniture for an alfresco meal.
Head inside where you'll find a large, eat-in kitchen with everything you need to make a meal at home. The living room boasts sliding glass doors to the deck and a wood-burning fireplace which is available in the colder months.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms including one that has an extra bonus room with a twin bed. Both bathrooms have been updated and offer the quality you'd expect for your home away from home.
Bootleggers is an ideal home base to relax and explore the greater Saugatuck Douglas area.

- This is a historic cottage in downtown Saugatuck. The bones are original to the house including interior doors, wood flooring, and some windows. The floors are not always even and the doors do not line up perfectly. We hope you will enjoy these quirks.
- The street of the address of this home is not the same street you access the home from. We will give you driving directions at check-in. GPS will not take you to the home.

It was the first time we stayed at this property. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cottage and the privacy. The weather wasnt conducive to utilizing the deck and fire pit so we would consider staying here again in the fall.

Our stay at Bootleggers in Saugatuck was an absolute delight! The location couldnt have been better, with easy walking distance to downtown and of course the beautiful river. The charm of the home added to the overall experience, making it feel cozy and inviting.
We look forward to retuning in the future to indulge all that Saugatuck has to offer.

We came for a girls weekend and were all impressed with the space. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Very clean. Lots of kitchen items to make meals. We didnt use the fire pit but it was set up for use with plenty of wood. This is a place you would want to come back to.

We were in Saugatuck for a family wedding. The bride and groom decided to use the gazebo downtown for a flash wedding. The house location was great for a quick walk downtown and back. It had everything we needed. On the last day we enjoyed the fire pit and made smores! I would definitely recommend this cottage for families traveling with their pets. For three couples and one child we had plenty of room.

Would definitely come back! The home was very private at the end of a cul-de-sac in a lovely neighborhood. I felt completely safe enjoying my coffee at sunrise sitting on the front porch, and enjoying numerous strolls to take in the view of the charming neighboring homes and flower gardens. We walked a couple blocks over and used the park and public tennis courts as well. The best thing about the home is it is walking distance to the quaint restaurants and shops of downtown Saugatuck. I am not much of a shopper, but really loved the quality and prices at these downtown shops. We had our dog with us and plenty of restaurants were ok with the pup at the outside tables.

Mill Pond was excellent! They provided a ton of information about the area as well as a coupon book. Make sure to read their detailed directions to the house. Only a few blocks from tons of shops and restaurants. Short drive to the beach.

The house was charming, spacious and private. We were able to enjoy the fire pit outside and it was so peaceful. The location of the house was so easy to navigate to and from downtown. Great place to stay and so read only priced so it made for a perfect sister getaway for us.

Was a rainy weekend so we didnt get to enjoy outside but it was a great location for a quick walk downtown for the bars/food. The house was clean and not far from the management office if something was needed.

This is a beautiful home that is surprisingly large...enough to comfortably fit four adults and six kids. The interior of the home is very quaint, with beach cottage feel. Also very clean. The location is quiet but easily walkable to the many shops and restaurants in Saugatuck. In any event, I recommend this property for those looking for a quiet location very close to the heart of Saugatuck.

We had an idyllic winter vacation with our family! The house was cozy with a wood burning fireplace and a very well equipped kitchen. Mill Pond staff were friendly and very responsive, addressing any issue we did have immediately to our satisfaction. We will definitely be returning to this lovely area and cute home!

Beautiful property, amazing neighbors. We loved the location, the large indoor/outdoor space when extended, multi-generational family is sharing the space. We would totally rent here again!
