The Gardens Azalea has a perfect balance of class and charm. This former art gallery turned vacation rental is professionally decorated, offers original art, and is the winner of a ‘History Preservation’ award.
Beautiful space throughout. The living room offers a place to gather together and relax with comfortable furniture, flat-screen TV, and adjacent dining. The fully equipped kitchen has granite counters, stainless appliances, and everything you need to make a meal at home. Just outside is a small patio with outdoor furniture and a larger patio with a table and chairs for meals outside.
With three spacious bedrooms, you will have plenty of room for everyone. Master bedroom ensuite has a king-size bed, large closet, and an extra large bathroom with double sinks and glass walk-in shower. Queen guest room offers a northern view and large closet. The third bedroom has two adorable twin beds perfect for little ones or those who wish to have their own sleeping surfaces.
If Lake Michigan is calling your name, access is only one block away at Douglas Beach Park. Walk over for endless days in the summer sunshine splashing in the waves, and walking along the shore.
For larger groups, also consider The Gardens Lily.
Please Note:
- Lily is connected to Azalea, but there is still complete privacy. The patio area is surrounded by landscaping so you should not see each other. You are welcome to enjoy the extended gardens, but they are shared with Azalea.
- Douglas Beach is two-tenths of a mile away. There are about 100 steps to get to the sand at this beach. Access is free.
- There is no ice maker at this property. You can purchase ice just up the road at the local grocery store.

This is an amazing home with comfortable furniture and amenities. Popping down to the beach was close, easy and fun. So many great places to eat within 10 minutes drive. We are coming back next year. Mill Pond was great to work with.

What a wonderful place. Mill Pond Realty was very friendly and professional. The Azaleas was not only immaculate and very well appointed but very comfortable. The location was great. We walked to the beach, Douglas and Saugatuck.

This is the second time weve rented through Mill Pond and both times the process was easy with no problems. Its also the second time we rented The Gardens. First time was Lily and we rented Azalea this time. It was a great stay. The accomodations were spacious, clean, well decorated and close to Lake Michigan. Love strolling on nearby Lakeshore Drive and watching sunsets at nearby Douglas Beach. Thanks for another enjoyable visit!

My family had a long weekend getaway at this place, and we all had a great time. Loved the neighborhood, morning walks, convenience to different attractions, beautiful backyards, well-maintained/organized interior, and so many other things. We would definitely consider this place again when visiting this area in the future.

We could not have been happier with our stay at GA House. What I dont think is emphasized enough is how close to Lake Shore Drive you are at this house. Our stay was right during Peak and the Fall foliage was astounding, but we were also able to walk less than a block down the street and watch gorgeous sunsets each evening right from the bluff top overlooking the water. It was an experience that our daughter will never forget. Center St where the house is located is also a main road that feeds right into downtown Douglas (great food and art) so you can go from lake to bayou in less than 5 min by car. We also had deer in the backyard each afternoon which was another family viewing experience. And a warm fire each evening to relax too. If you are looking for a #PureMichigan experience in the Fall we could not recommend Saugatuck/Douglas area more, it was amazing. And this house was a perfect compliment to the whole trip. Enjoy!

This place was so unique and clean. Nothing better than the smell of bleach on sheets during a pandemic. It was so clean inside and out. I feel like pictures are always better than when you arrive at a property but this was so much bigger and cleaner than I could have expected. Such a great find.

The property was clean, well maintained and properly stocked with amenities. The atmosphere in the garden was so peaceful. We spent hours outside reading, relaxing and dining. The home and garden was just gorgeous. We could not have selected a better place to stay for our family of 5. Two blocks from scenic sunset views, nice quiet location. Just lovely.
