The Gardens Lily provides guests with an upscale vacation experience. Sophisticated style and unique original art throughout.
Enter the great room with wood flooring, comfortable furniture, and a seasonal gas fireplace. Relax in the living area while watching a movie on the flat-screen Smart TV or enjoy a meal at home in the dining area. The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to make a meal. The granite counters and stainless appliances even make it enjoyable.
From the dining area, head out the sliding glass doors to your private back patio complete with outdoor furniture and a flowering garden.
Back inside The Gardens Lily are two master ensuites. The first has a king-size bed and double closet. The adjacent bathroom is extra spacious with double sinks, walk-in glass and tile shower, and laundry. The second ensuite has a queen bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite with shower tub combo.
Located one mile from downtown Douglas and two miles from downtown Saugatuck, you'll have an assortment of activities at your fingertips. From Broadway quality theater and adorable boutiques to an assortment of restaurants and endless ice cream flavors, there is something for everyone.
If Lake Michigan is calling your name, access is only one block away at Douglas Beach Park. Walk over for endless days in the summer sunshine splashing in the waves and walking along the shore.
For larger groups, also consider The Gardens Azalea.
Please Note:
- Lily is connected to Azalea, but there is still complete privacy. The patio area is surrounded by landscaping so you should not see each other. You are welcome to enjoy the extended gardens, but they are shared with Azalea.
- Douglas Beach is two-tenths of a mile away. There are about 100 steps to get to the sand at this beach. Access is free.

We loved staying at this house for a weekend getaway. We had our 1 year old with us and were able to fit a pack n play into the second bedroom, prepare his meals in the kitchen, and it was really helpful to have the open floor plan and ranch-style house. The place was spotless and comfortableespecially the couch! We loved walking along the lake multiple times a day and seeing deer outside the sliding doors early in the morning. A prime location to drive into Saugatuck or walk to the root beer barrel and coffee shop down the street.

We have been vacationing from Chicago for 35+ years. Always using Mill Pond for home rentals. When we became empty nesters, we needed a much smaller rental property than when we were bringing our 3 children along. Lily is perfect for the 2 of us. The home is well decorated, comfy beds & linens, gardens are gorgeous. Love this rental!

We enjoyed our week here in this lovely house with attractive furniture and artwork. The backyard landscaping was very nice too. We liked being close and able to walk to Lake Michigan! Even though it is a duplex, we found it a quiet location and house. We like this area and hope to return soon!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Gardens Lily. The location was fabulous next to Douglas Beach. We took quiet peaceful beautiful walks every morning down Lake Shore Drive. The cottage was decorated very beautifully in a French country theme. The garden was beautiful, and the place was very clean. We liked the proximity to Saugatuck and Oval Beach as well. Would definitely love to visit again.

This is is beautiful apartment with very high end furniture and decor. The kitchen is well stocked and the garden area is lovely for dining , weather permitting. The lakefront is a short walk and the sunsets from the bluff are gorgeous. Millpond Realty staff were prompt to reply to queries and very organized at check in. We would definitely stay here again!

Quaint, well decorated home just steps away from beach access. Unfortunately, the beach was closed due to high water levels, but when open it is a perfect walking distance and Oval Beach was a short 5-7 minute drive. We were pleasantly surprised with the inside condition of home and thought it looked even better than the photos. As a family of 5, with 3 kids under 7 (youngest in a pack and play), it was a little smaller than we are used to, but flow of the home was perfect and would definitely recommend.

We just rented this house for a week and loved it! It is exactly as it looks and extremely lovely and cute. Besides being well appointed and well equipped, the other big things that really made the trip for us were the lovely back yard and the close proximity to Lakeshore Drive. Even with the Douglas beach closed this year, just being so close to Lakeshore (literally like 3 houses off) for runs, walking and watching sunsets made a big addition to our trip. We would absolutely rent this place again and highly recommend it.
