The activities at Dollybrook added to the enjoyment of our stay. We had a great time playing sand volleyball, and the on-site pool was absolutely amazing. It provided a refreshing break from the summer heat and added to the overall experience. And we got to use it at the end of September which is so cool. The weather was also amazing.
In summary, Dollybrook is a picturesque retreat with charming cabins, a convenient location, and a variety of activities.

Had our family reunion on Fathers Day weekend. The Gerth family rented all 9 cabins and the Loft. Dollybrook is incredible. All 45 of us had plenty of space and really enjoyed the cabins and the picnic area. The entire facility is so clean. The cabins have full sized refrigerators, big kitchens, plenty of lounging space, extra large flat screen TVs, and the beds (and bedding) are so comfortable.
The pool is huge and is located in the back of the property so plenty of privacy.
Mill Pond allowed us our privacy but were easily accessible with a phone call. Such wonderful people.
If you get a chance to stay at Dollybrook, you will not regret it. I highly recommend staying there. And if you have a family reunion, this is definitely the place for you. In fact, my family only left the property 3 times...once to shop and two times for off site events.

Great weekend at Dollybrook Resort, we spent the whole weekend, with a large group of friends: we rented all the cabins and we had an amazing time. We loved the fact that we had jacuzzis (theyve just been added) and we had something to do in the winter. We spent most of our time as a group in cabins 5 and 6. Love the new touches, king beds, super awesome! Thank you Dollybrook, we will be back soon

We planned our family getaway here. It was perfect. We had 8 adults and picked cabin 6. It was perfect. Everyone had a private sleeping area and there were 3 bathrooms. The Master bedroom bath is shared with the loft space. The kitchen had everything we needed. We cooked all our meals there and we never were missing anything. The screened porch was beautiful and plenty big. The living room was comfortable and opened to the kitchen so everyone was always part of everything happening. The furnishing and decorations are so interesting. My husband built our home and he thought the craftsmanship in these cottages was top notch. The pool is new and huge. The fire pits are stocked with a fire starter, matches and wood. There is comfortable furniture around the fire pit. I dont know how many times we remarked this was a perfect place.

DollyBrook Resort was a wonderful place to stay while in the Saugatuck area. Off the beaten path yet close enough to be on the lake in 10 minutes or less. Beautiful, unique, spacious and well designed cabins await you. Private pool, close to The Little Store, many local blueberry and produce farms as well as ever so artsy Saugatuck why stay anywhere else!

DollyBrook Resort is our home away from home - the cottages are super clean, beautifully decorated (love the farm sink, custom cabinets and granite countertops), with FULLY equipped kitchens (right down to the retro blender and steak knives). Central heating and cooling, gas fireplaces, flat screen televisions - crisp, yet soothing bed linens, and fluffy absorbent towels. Lovely screened in porches with hanging patio lights, clean and functional gas grills, not to mention the perfectly maintained fire pits, complete with a little bundle of kindling, wood, and matches. Ali and her family are fabulous, provide excellent customer service and are wonderfully detailed oriented ~ truly they have thought of everything! Our family will be back again and again and again.

I cant recommend DollyBrook highly enough. To me, this was an ideal location for a long weekend get-away. Cottage #4 was absolutely what I hoped it would be, and exactly what I would want to own if I had a cottage in the area. As someone else said, its off the beaten path--but its easy to find, is the perfect hub for excursions to all the nearby cities, is very reasonably priced, looks brand new and is spotlessly clean, is (very) cleverly designed, is bright and airy, is well-stocked, and has great towels and linens, blissfully quiet surroundings, and super-friendly owners/employees.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my fiancee and her two daughters. We rented cottage #9 which was three bedroom and two bath. The place was amazingly clean, and very nicely appointed. Comfy, large sectional in living room with large-screen TV. Nice dining table right next to fully stocked kitchen. Bedrooms were adequate but not at all large, and all had queen-sized beds. Screened front porch and open back porch with grass grill.
Resort grounds are very nice. Lots of seating and fire pits near the pond on the property offered evening relaxation and smore making. Basketball court and sand volleyball (balls provided) were a nice feature. There is a pool located by the main house, unfortunately it is only usable 11-5 daily as the owners living there and have had issues with noisy people in the pool at night (always has to be someone who ruins it for those who come later).

Not only is this resort awesome, the family that runs it clearly works hard to make sure guests have an incredible experience. We came with my toddler and the cabin was so clean, kid friendly and the resort facilities were perfect. Lots of pool time and exploring the beautiful grounds. Cant wait to come back!

Wow. This is a hidden gem. We stayed in cabin 7. Minutes from downtown Douglas and Saugatuck, we cant wait to get back. The cottages are unique and fun. Super impressive. The fire pits are literally ready to go! Matches and all. Great pool. Loved chatting with the owner and cant wait to see them gain more success. Thank you so much for making it easy and family friendly! Most places require too many days to stay and they dont! We cant always get away for a full week so being able to stay at a quality venue for the time we could get away was huge for us. Well be back.

Wow!! What an excellent find. Stayed here for a winter weekend and adored the resort. These cottages are as cozy as they are artistic. Gorgeous layout, roomy and rustic yet very modern. WiFi was strong, smart TVs and fire place too. I cannot wait to come back for summer!

My family has stayed at multiple homes and cottages over the years. Dollybrook is far and away the best experience we have had renting a home or cottage. First, the grounds and cottages are amazing. The cottage we stayed in was so well-maintained it looked brand newu. It is evident the care taken over every aspect of your stay. When we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

Our family of four stayed in cabin 7 and we LOVED it! Comfortable, SUPER clean and stocked with everything you might need. The new pool is amazing and BIG! I loved the fact that we could use the fire pits to roast smores. Like others have said, the location is off the beaten path, but very easy to find. We were able to get to South Haven, Holland and Saugatuck within 20 minutes or so. It was nice to come home to our quiet little cottage in the woods after a busy day and have all the comforts of home at our fingertips. I especially loved the screened in porch. I highly recommend this resort and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic resort. We rented "Cottage # 1" on a last minute whim, as soon as we walked in we knew we had made an excellent choice. Spotless, rustic and cleverly designed. The people that run it are delightful and I will be coming back in the summer for sure. They have several cottages ranging in size to fit your needs.

Absolutely beautiful place! So much love and attention went into these unique cottages. Super clean, cozy and has that at home feel. Close enough to Saugatuck/Douglas & South Haven, but far enough to experience the quiet country lifestyle. The property is simply beautiful if you have appreciation for the nature. Large pool, fun area with 4 fire pits accompanied with twinkly lights. Parents the sand pit is huge! Youre probably thinking, what do I need a huge sand pit for, right?! Well if you want some down time sitting in a sun chair sipping on your favorite drink, while your kiddos run around for what feels like hours digging, building castles, and just plain ignoring you, this is the spot. Who knew being ignored could feel so good! Then get a little more time by sending them over to the outdoor basketball court. We LOVE this place, and the family who runs it! Cheers to your stay

We had a fantastic stay at Dollybrook in Michigan, particularly in cabin number 7. The cabins charming green kitchen cabinets and cheerful yellow china gave it a unique and inviting character.
Dollybrook is an ideal destination for a family or friends outing, especially for those coming from Chicago. The proximity to Chicago makes it a convenient getaway. One highlight of our visit was bringing bikes for the kids; they had a blast exploring the area on two wheels. We were there with a group celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.
