Vacation Rental Specialist
This is a fast-paced, full time, year round position. Daily duties vary greatly, but will include answering inquiries via phone and email, taking and processing reservations, greeting clients/customers in our office, inspecting homes for housekeeping and maintenance issues, ordering cleans/maintenance, preparing ledgers and invoices, marketing (i.e. flyers, ad copy, social media postings, etc), and liaising with vendors and companies to arrange for quotes and services. You will also be required to jump in and help the team as needed whether that means helping a housekeeper finish up or scheduling showings for the real estate department. Hours are flexible, but weekend work is required. If you are not available to work weekends, please do not apply.

Seasonal & Year-Round Housekeepers
This position requires all aspects of maintaining our rental properties (i.e. clean and sanitize, dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, wash and change linens and towels, transport trash, etc). It also requires the ability to lift 20-30lbs. Moving furniture, changing light bulbs, switching out propane tanks, etc, is also sometimes needed. Weekend work is a must.

Director of First Impressions
This position requires all aspects of maintaining the appearance of our office (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, watering flowers, greeting guest, setting up and taking down the refreshments stand, refilling brochures, etc). You only get one chance to make a first impression! Duties will also include helping the team with varied office tasks on an as needed basis (running errands, sorting mail, filing, data entry, answering phones, stuffing bags and envelopes, etc). This is a seasonal, part time position with a flexible schedule but weekend work is a must.

Front Desk / Reservationist / Customer Care
This high demand, fast paced role is ideal for the self-motivated individual who is looking to learn more about hospitality, the business world, and themselves. Duties will be different every day and will include all aspects of a reservation (booking, processing, check-in, check-out, etc); answering questions regarding the area, activities, and our rental properties; greeting and welcoming incoming and departing guests with a positive and friendly attitude; clerical office duties (light banking, filing, data entry, etc), and more. Multitasking opportunities are available with housekeeping, maintenance, and quality assurance. This is a full time seasonal position with flexible hours, but weekend and holiday work is mandatory. This position will be working directly with our vacation rental department to assist primarily with accounts payable. This is a part-time position and hours are flexible.

Marketing Manager
This position encompasses all aspects of print and digital marketing and advertising. Duties will include upkeep across our various websites and the websites we advertise on; maintaining our social media accounts such as FaceBook, Twitter, and Instagram; development and layout of flyers, color books, brochures, and presentations; advertisements in various print publications including newspapers, magazines, and visitor guides; creation of various guides for our rental and real estate properties; light photo editing; and ad copy for all the above. This is a year-round position with a flexible schedule.

Caretaker
This is a caretaker position for a small resort property tucked on the harbor in downtown Saugatuck. This is a summer position only from May - September. You must commit through Labor Day, but would be welcome to stay until Halloween when the cottages are closed. This is a unique position offering a one bedroom caretaker apartment, all utilities, and use of the amenities in exchange for basic caretaker duties. Caretaker duties include greeting arriving and potential guests, interacting and visiting with guests during their stay, answering questions regarding the area, and helping to ensure the cottages are filled nightly. Additional paid work is required on a daily basis including cleaning and light maintenance to prepare and stage the cottages for guest arrivals. Past caretakers have included snow birds, retirees, and those struck with wanderlust.

General Labor / Maintenance / Handyman
We are looking for a team player with a no-job-is-too-small attitude to work directly with our maintenance manager to ensure quality upkeep across our homes, properties, and amenities. Every day duties will include mowing, landscaping, yard work, tree and brush trimming, painting, all aspects of home maintenance, cleaning, light carpentry, furniture moving, heavy lifting, boat dock repair and maintenance, auto and boat cleaning and waxing, etc. You will never be bored as there will always be something new and different to do. Both seasonal and year-round positions are available on a part time and full time basis. A flexible schedule is offered, but some weekend work is a must. 

Requirements:
  • Valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of general maintenance (general handyman skills)
  • Self motivated and the ability to work without direct supervision
