Please Note
- There is no central air conditioning. There are window air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms to keep you cool.
- The fireplace is only available during the cold winter months.
- The beach access is shared by the entire association and requires climing down over 100 stairs. Please be respectful of the common space.
- This home receives water via a well. The water is filtered and softened, but will still be very different tasting and smelling than city water. If you have never experienced well water, we recommend bringing bottled water to drink. We caution you about washing white laundry here as the well water can sometimes leave an orange tinge.
- This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
- This home is tucked in the woods along the lake. It is common to see animals, mice, bats, and other vermin. The property is serviced monthly by a professional pest company, but sometimes vermin do sneak in. Please let us know right away if you see evidence of anything inside and we will send out pest control. No rate adjustments can be made for vermin in or around the house. Make sure to keep the doors closed at all times or the wildlife may let themselves in.

The house was clean, well equipped, and provided plenty of room for seen people. Only a short walk to the stairs that leads down to the neighborhood beach. The beach is great for viewing the sunset. Both South Haven and Saugatuck are just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great family gathering at this location. We were a group of ten and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook dinners on the grill and enjoyed being around the fire pit in the evening. It was a short walk to the beach, which is nice sitting and enjoying lake sunsets. The location is the quiet neighborhood was very nice and it was about a 15 minute drive to South Haven and a 15 minute drive to Saugatuck (opposite directions) so we were able to easily go enjoy both of those beautiful cities as well. Overall we had a great stay and highly recommend this listing.

We wanted a place between South Haven and Saugatuck for the Blue Coast Art Tour for five women. This home was right in the middle, had the right amount of space and was the right price. We arrived at night and didnt see the beautiful view until the next morning. It was spotless and comfortable and the towels were plush. We couldnt miss the walk to the beach before we left. Im sure this a beautiful spot in the summer.

This rental is in a very cool spot - a quiet, secluded, older residential neighborhood with direct access to Lake Michigan. The home was clean. This would be a good base for a group looking to spend much of their time exploring West Michigan. Note that the lakeshore in this area is beautiful for sunsets and skipping rocks.
