- This home is located very close to Lake Michigan. High-speed internet is not available in the area. Internet is provided by Frontier and can be spotty at times. Cell phone reception may also be spotty.
- Water is brought to this home by a well. The water is then filtered and softened. Due to the high mineral content in our area, the water will taste and smell a bit different than city water.
- This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper.
- The gas fireplace on the screen porch is not available for use.

Our stay was phenomenal, it felt like home. You can feel the love of the family that went into the designing of this home. The dining table gives it a peaceful family atmosphere. We had to contact the rental company 2 times, they responded quickly and solved our issues. We had groceries delivered from Meijer and we visited the nearby stores and the beautiful lights downtown.

Our family has been renting vacation properties for over 15 years. Murphys Landing has been THE BEST! Well equipped and maintained. All family members unanimously requested that we return next summer. Having a paved access to the beach was a nice plus as well.

Our group trip was amazing, we really enjoyed our stay! The house was beautiful, with lots of outdoor seating spaces and fireplaces. Proximity to the beach and water access for swimming and enjoying the lake.

The house was fantastic. The fireplaces were nice to have; the screened-in porch with a fireplace was wonderful to have in the fall. The house was "quiet" at bedtime too - you couldnt hear the pitter-patter of everyone else. The kitchen had everything you need to cook a meal for a group. A short walk away from the lake was also a great perk! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We spent a delightful week in July at Murphys Landing. The house was meticulously clean and well stocked for all of our needs. It included plenty of firewood for evening bonfires.
The set up of the house facilitated a great experience for our family with 5 grand kids ages 2-8. There was plenty of room to spread out, the 2 screened porches were especially nice to be able to keep a jigsaw puzzle set up and an area for board games.
The immediate area surrounding the house was quiet and felt very safe. We were able to enjoy the deer in the woods behind the house and the entertaining black squirrels. We had daily nature walks, identifying the wild flowers and eating wild black raspberries. The kids even caught some small frogs along the roadside.
The house is ideally located near grocery shopping, restaurants, and fruit markets, we even went blueberry picking one day close by.

We stayed a week at Murphys Landing and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The home is beautiful, accommodated 2 families easily, and was well equipped. We enjoyed the drive up access beach in the evenings for sunsets but beach days we spent at Oval Beach for better water conditions. The stair access was unusable during our stay as the lake came right up to the base of the stairs. All in all a very pleasurable stay.

Great family place. Five grand children 7 and under were thrilled with their vacation. Adult children liked kayaking and visits to area communities. We liked Murphys Landing because it was new, clean, well equipped and slept 11 people very comfortably.

The house was gorgeous! We loved the private beach with the drive-up accessibility. We were there so often, we would have loved a 2nd key. The screened in porches were our favorites. The beds were very comfortable and the decorating was impeccable. We cant wait to come back!
