This home also offers a private swimming pool. Please note the pool is not heated and is only available during the summer months depending on weather.
In addition to the main living room, with gorgeous lake views and soaring ceilings, a second living room, complete with wet bar, can be found on the lower level. The upstairs master suite is a real treat, offering a whirlpool tub and a separate sitting area to relax and enjoy the scenery.

Please Note:
- Silver Lake is an inland spring-fed lake that flows out into the Kalamazoo River and then into Lake Michigan. During certain times of the year, Silver Lake can get a bit green with algae. When this happens, the landscaper will come clear it by hand every few weeks. However, this is an act of Mother Nature and we cannot control it.
- This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. Feminine products, baby wipes, etc. will get caught in the septic pump breaking it. This will result in not being able to flush the toilets and an expensive plumbing bill.
- This home receives water from a well. Due to the high mineral content in our water, it smells and tastes a bit different than city water.
- The swimming pool liner is fragile and could be punctured or ripped if not taken care of. Please do not bring any glass or sharp objects into the pool area.
- Due to local fire department regulations, the BBQ grill is not allowed on the deck or within 10 feet of the house. Please be sure the grill stays in the driveway.
- The swimming pool is only available during the summer months and is dependent on weather. We do our best to have the pool open for Memorial Day weekend, but weather sometimes makes it impossible. We try to leave the pool open until October. However, if the weather is not very good we can close it any time after Labor Day weekend. If you're looking to use the pool, please contact us to be sure it'll be open before booking.

This is the perfect house for a large group of friends - plenty of comfortable beds, multiple bathrooms and showers, a large kitchen with all the necessary kitchen supplies, and great relaxing spaces. The patio is beautiful with a nice private dock by the water. I highly recommend this house for a group of friends or a large family. Mill Pond Realty was wonderful to work with too, which made it even better! They were responsive, proactive, flexible, and helpful.

Our group of 12 had an absolute blast at this home! It was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and had the perfect amounts of space to hang out and lounge! We were worried about parking, so we carpooled as much as possible to limit the amount of vehicles, but we could easily fit 7 cars no problem! I regret not booking an extra night bc none of use were ready to leave after just two days :) Would definitely stay here again!

This is a gorgeous home. It was so welcoming when you came in. Lamps were turned on. There was music playing in the background. The kitchen is absolutely to die for and everything that they leave you to use to cook is amazing. You dont need to bring anything with you. The bedrooms are very comfortable and theres lots of sleeping arrangements. The basement has lots of things to do such as bumper pool, card table, big TV, and foosball the outdoors are beautiful the deck is super nice and has lots of seating, and a good view of the lake. The beach is nice with a fire pit and lots of chairs surrounding. The owners also leave your kayaks if you want to kayak in the lake. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Great place for a vacation. The house was very clean and was more updated than the current pictures on the Airbnb site. The beach was very nice and it had kayaks available to take out to explore the water. Having the pool was also a nice amenity. I would definitely recommend this place.

What a fantastic house and location! We were so happy with our trip. The space was perfect for our extended family getaway. We had three spaces for three family pods. The beach was perfect for the small kids, we loved kayaking on the lake, and having smores by the fire at night. Mill Pond Realty was fantastic at answering all my questions in a very timely manner as well! Would return to this location!

Our families enjoyed our lake retreat from the hustle bustle of the city in this charming home. There are plenty of outdoor activities from fishing, fire pits, hiking, canoeing and more. Definitely a great experience and wish we had more time to spend.

The house was great and the view was fantastic. The wifi provided a bit of an obstacle; since it is a satellite connection only 5 of us could be connected at a time. Overall it was a lovely property.

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Silver Lake Retreat. The property is gorgeous and the large kitchen was perfect for cooking with friends. This was our first "family" vacation in years. All of our children and grandchildren had fun. We all took advantage of the water and personal beach. Everyone had their personal space in the house and all went well. We would highly recommend this house and location.

Loved it! Saugatuck was very cute and picturesque. The only thing we could have asked for was more mirrors. The house was perfect and we had so much fun. We are thinking a yearly reunion is in order :)

Im from Chicago and somehow never got to this area before. Big mistake! This area has great amenities and on Silver Lake it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We brought four generations - from 3 to 93 - and we had the sort of vacation that makes lifetime memories. This is a fabulous property for a family reunion - pool, beach, kayaking, golf, and kitchen that make big meals easy. Whoever thought out this home had a family and made it the perfect family home. I booked online, which is always a huge risk, and I won the "powerball" of vacation rentals. Thank you for a spectacular vacation!
