Located in the small community of Glenn, Martha's Cottage is located 15 minutes away from Saugatuck/Douglas, South Haven, and downtown Fennville. From local farms with fresh produce to boutiques full of unique treasures to fine and casual dining, there is something for everyone only a short distance away.

Please Note:
- There are approximately 100 steps down to Lake Michigan. Beach conditions change daily. Due to high water levels, there is less beach than usual. The beach is very rocky in this stretch of the lakeshore. We have fun looking for fossils in the rocks!
- Cell phone coverage is not the best right on Lake Michigan. The best spot for reception is in the upstairs bathroom - really! There is a landline phone at the cottage that can make local calls and receive long-distance calls.
- This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If you flush other items, such as feminine products, it will cause a sewage backup into the showers. Please only flush toilet paper.
- This home receives water via a well. Due to the high mineral content in our area, this water smells and tastes different than city water. Those who are accustomed to city water may wish to bring bottled water for drinking.

Excellent location with amazing views and sunsets; house is well kept , fully equipped, very clean and neat. There were only seven of us, the house could easily fit a few more people. Mill Pond was extremely responsive to all our requests. Even though we went there in mid September we swam at the lake every day that we were there --- admittedly the temperature was above average during our visit.

This is a beautiful place - its all about the view and the beach for our group. The home itself is nice and clean and comfortable and well maintained but we didnt spend much time inside. How can you when you can be by the water? I couldnt ask for anything else.

Marthas Cottage was everything we hoped for. Lovely house. Clean and roomy. Nice big back yard with firepit and benches. Beautiful view of Lake Michigan and private beach. Didnt see a soul. Neighbors of the property were friendly. Will head back again next year!!!

This was a perfect place for our family to come together and celebrate, relax and enjoy all that Saugatuck had to offer. The view of the lake and excess to the beach was stunning. With the help of a couple of rented bikes, we were able to truly take in our surroundings. The house was clean and well stocked with all the amenities needed. We would definitely recommend this rental for any family looking to unwind and spend some quality time together.

Marthas Cottage is a well-maintained property. The owner/property managers planned for practically all that guests might need during their stay. We are a family of 8 adults and 2 children and we had a wonderful time! We will definitely be back!

We loved every minute of our stay at Marthas Cottage. It was the perfect setting for a family. Our toddler loved playing in the sand, the back yard, and picking berries at a nearby farm. The vistas were gorgeous, especially the sunsets. Beachside Rentals made it very easy for us by setting up a toddler bed and crib before we arrived, ensuring our newborn had a swing too.
Mill Pond Realty was GREAT to work with and we would highly recommend them to friends and family.

Generally speaking we were very pleased with our stay. The house was as advertised, which is important. The kitchen was fully equipped. The games, beach umbrellas and chairs, etc were all much appreciated. We all very much liked the location, view, beach, screened porch and yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed the week. The layout of the cottage was efficient and comfortable. Loved the lake view with both a deck and screened in porch. I worried about the steps being too steep and hard to maneuver, but found it much easier than expected. Laundry was in a good spot.
